Responsible for all national-level information technology systems, software, cybersecurity, and digital infrastructure supporting Auxiliary members and operations.
Computer Software & Systems
The mission of the Computer Software & Systems (C) Directorate is the design, development, production, and maintenance of underlying technologies, equipment and solutions essential to advance U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary duties and missions.
- Software Engineering division is a specialized technical unit responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the digital systems, web applications, and software tools that support Auxiliary missions.
- IT Operations & Systems Support division is the core functional unit responsible for the day-to-day stability, security, and maintenance of the organization’s digital footprint.
- Web Services division is the functional unit responsible for the public-facing and member-accessible web ecosystem of the organization.
IT User Support & Services
The mission of the IT User Support and Services (U) Directorate is to deliver support for the technology needs in the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary.
- Analytics Support division is the functional unit responsible for data analysis, performance reporting, and business intelligence.
- Communications Services Support division is the functional unit responsible for provisioning, managing, and maintaining the collaborative communication tools and digital workplace platforms utilized by the organization.
- AUXDATA II Support division is the specialized functional unit dedicated entirely to the administration, maintenance, user assistance, and optimal utilization of the Auxiliary’s primary system of record.
- Information Services Support division is the functional unit responsible for supervising, guiding, and supporting the nationwide network of Information Systems (IS) officers who handle data entry and management at the local levels.
- Member Support division is the functional unit dedicated to front-line technical customer service, onboarding, and troubleshooting for individual volunteers across the country.
Cyber Security
The Cybersecurity Directorate will deliver cybersecurity services to proactively protect Coast Guard Auxiliary information technology assets and services; respond to cybersecurity incidents; deliver cybersecurity awareness products and educational information to Auxiliarists for the protection of Auxiliary personnel, assets, and missions; and partner with U.S. Coast Guard and Coast Guard Cyber Command to plan, staff, and execute cybersecurity augmentation support to the Coast Guard and Marine Transportation System.
- Cybersecurity Operations division focuses entirely on risk mitigation, defense, and compliance with strict military and federal standards.
- Cybersecurity Policy & Compliance division is the functional unit responsible for governance, risk management, and regulatory alignment.
- Cybersecurity Education & Awareness division is the functional unit focused on the organizational culture and human element of information security.
- AUXCYBER Program Support division is the administrative and specialized management unit that oversees the recruitment, qualification, and coordination of the Auxiliary’s elite cybersecurity forces.
- Cybersecurity Prevention Operations division focuses entirely on offensive defense, surface reduction, and proactive hardening of the infrastructure.
